what is an inbody test?

An Inbody Test is a non-invasive and accurate way to analyze body composition. It gives a complete picture of a person’s body composition which includes fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass, and water.

why is body composition important?

Many focus on weight loss or gain in order to ‘get healthy.’ However, a person’s health is more complex than the number on the scale. Knowing your own body’s unique makeup allows you to better understand where you need to make improvements.

weight in terms of muscle and fat mass

Sarcopenia refers to the natural loss of muscle mass with age. After the age of 30, people lose an average of 3-8% of their muscle mass each decade. This can make it gradually more difficult to perform daily tasks like walking and increase the likelihood of chronic illness. A Traditional scale can’t give you an accurate muscle and fat mass percentage, but the Inbody can.
